Romantic Trip in Dubai

Having experienced tremendous growth in the past few decades, Dubai has become a landmark and a major tourist destination in the world. Be it the world’s tallest building — Burj Khalifa — or the biggest mall in the world — Dubai Mall, this city has a lot to offer to the discerning traveller. Whether you wish for a relaxed holiday in the comfort of your hotel or an expedition filled vacation exploring the reaches of the country, you can have it all here in Dubai. With so much to offer, it is then no doubt that this city has even become a destination for romantic vacations. Here are the few things you can do in Dubai when going for a honeymoon.

Couples Trip in Dubai

1. Burj Khalifa: At The Top

No trip to Dubai can be complete without visiting the man-made marvel, Burj Khalifa. The tallest building in the world has the highest viewing gallery in the world located on the 148th floor. You could also step out onto the world’s highest observation terrace situated at a staggering height of 555 m and see the vast metropolis of Dubai spread out in front of your eyes.

2. Desert Safari: Get the Real Desert Experience

When visiting the country of deserts, how can you miss out on the most prominent attraction that it has to offer – its vast deserts? You could go into the sunny deserts of Dubai with tons of tour companies and bash in the dunes in 4×4 vehicles, take camel rides and ride dune buggies before settling down and having traditional food in the midst of the desert while seeing various Arabic dances including belly dance. What can be more romantic than a peaceful dinner and then spending the night in spacious tents under the starry sky?

3. Dine in Burj Al Arab: Epitome of Luxury in Dubai

Widely known as one of the best 5-star hotels in the world, if not the best, Burj Al Arab is situated on a tiny man-made islet off the coast of Jumeirah in Dubai.

While this hotel features a flurry of restaurants, dining at Al Muntaha is a different experience altogether. Situated on the 27th floor of the hotel, this restaurant offers the peak of fine dining with sweeping views of the Dubai city skyline, the fantastic Dubai beach- Jumeirah Beach, and also the human-made wonder- Palm Jumeirah. You can indulge in some excellent modern French cuisine with your partner while taking in the views of the maximum city.

Here are the views from the other restaurants in the hotel.

4. Stroll on the Boardwalk at Palm Jumeirah: Most Romantic Walk in Dubai

The recently finished boardwalk at Palm Jumeirah stretches across 11 km on the final crescent of the island. Built on the rocks of the palm’s breakwaters, this sidewalk is perfect for romantic walks, be it day or night. On one side, you can get stunning views of the Arabian Gulf while on the other, humongous man-made creations like Palm Atlantis. If you wish to have some street-side delicacies, the boardwalk is filled with lots of food trucks which serve some astounding food.

5. Candle Light Dinner on Dhow Cruise: Dine on a Boat

Dhows are traditional Arab boats made out of wood. In Dubai, you can go for a Dhow cruise which usually lasts for about 3 to 4 hours and takes you into the deep blue sea. While on the journey, you can get some beautiful views of the Dubai city skyline with great music playing in the background. Later, you will also get a chance to see traditional Arabic dances like belly dancing before settling down for a tranquil candlelight dinner with your partner with the light sea breeze blowing over your faces.

6. Visit Miracle Garden: Walk Among Millions of Flowers

A relatively new development in Dubai, The Miracle Garden is one of a kind in the region with unique art displays wholly made out of flowering plants. Here you can see a life-size model of an A380 aircraft completely covered with flowers and walk through flower studded arches among other things. You can also find a tiny village with houses entirely made from plants. This is your chance to breathe in the fragrance of millions of flowers at a time with your partner. Can there be anything more romantic than this? PS: This garden is only open for a few months every year, so do check up before planning your trip!

7. Hot Air Balloon Ride: See the City From the Sky

Many Dubai tour packages offer hot air balloon rides over the desert with snacks or dinner for the couple. From the balloon, you can get some sweeping views of the crimson desert and the high-rising city in the distance. What can be more romantic than catching a sunset over the city of Dubai and the desert while having some delicious food with your partner up in the sky?

Dubai has a lot to offer to every single traveller, and this is what makes it one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in the world. A Dubai honeymoon package is perfect whether it is your first or even second honeymoon.
